Benin DXpedition March 2006 : DXpedition Plans

The Team:	The team is composed of 4 experienced operators as follows: TY4TW? by Tom GM4FDM (mainly RTTY, also SSB) TY5WP? by Ronald PA3EWP (mainly CW on the low bands, also SSB/RTTY) TY5MR? by Andrea IK1PMR (mainly CW on the low bands, also SSB/RTTY) TY5LEO? by Claudia K2LEO (mainly RTTY, also SSB) Please see The Team page for details. Callsigns may change, as we 'll collect our licenses on arrival in Benin.
QTH:	Near Cotonou, in the South of Benin
Location:	We stay at Au Jardin Helvetia, a beach resort with nice bungalows with space for antennas
Focus:	We'll try to focus on low bands (160-40m), especially for NA and JA openings; EU should be no problem on all HF bands/modes; the team includes two RTTY enthusiasts, but each of us can operate all modes.

Contests:	We'll take part in all major contests on CW, SSB and RTTY, namely BARTG RTTY Spring and CQ WPX SSB (single op. or Multi/Single or Multi/2, we'll see). So please look for us!
